Terms and Conditions

Services


Hepburn at Home offer decluttering and  home staging.   We help you to either declutter your current living space or in preparation for sale of your home.  We also work with empty homes supplying upcycled furniture or we can work with your current furniture. We supply an estimate after viewing your property.


Payment Terms


A deposit of 50% will be required on booking.   The remaining 50% will be due on completion of the assignment in cash, cheque or directly into my bank account and made payable to Hepburn at Home's bank account.   An invoice will be issued for my services and payment due within 14 days.   Interest will be charged at 2% per month on any balance that remains unpaid after that date.


Travel Costs


These is included within one hour of my office RH14 0RJ.  Thereafter it will be charged at 45p a mile or at a price agreed between us.


Hours


You will only be charged the hours actually worked and whilst it might be pre-agreed for a set number of hours if this goes over we will let you know and bill you accordingly.  If we have breaks for lunch etc. these will not be included in the session.


Furniture Rental  Terms


We invoice monthly in advance.   Payment is for the forthcoming month or part month.   We require 2 weeks notice to terminate the contract.  


Cancellation Policy


Should it be necessary to cancel we will refund any payments made in advance less time for the work carried out.


Insurance


We hold full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance cover for my services.   Please also ensure the  you have the appropriate and current insurance policies that compensate you adequately should any damage to your possessions occur.


Intellectural Property Rights


We own and have rights of usage of any images, videos we take at  your property unless you specifically request us in writing not to do so.   


Confidentiality 


We confirm we will not name you or your propety other than first name and town.  We maintain client confietnality and data proetction measures.

Associations


We trained with the  Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO) and abide by their Code of Ethics.
